We’re a family run pub which changed hands in July 2021, situated a stone's throw from the Al2 .
We are now open daily from 11am-10pm, serving food all day from 12-9pm!
We have a variety of seating options; inside, outside and in our brand new extension.
Whilst booking is not essential we always recommend it when planning a visit as we can get very busy!
Whether you are visiting the fantastic nearby beaches, venturing down the great walking routes on the Heritage Coast or admiring the nature at Minsmere, you will always receive a warm welcome from the team at the Poacher’s Pocket.

At the Poacher’s Pocket you can expect a warm welcome in our cozy bar and dining rooms during the cooler months, and plenty of al fresco seating when the weather allows!
We pride ourself on our selection of local beers, traditional pub menu and exceptional Sunday Roast offering. You can always expect the best local produce to be used for your food and drinks at the Poacher’s Pocket, the way it should be!
